To support our team, we are looking for a Technical Writer (m/w/*)as a fulltime employee (40h/week), located at our headquarters in Mainz, Germany.
Your responsibilities:
- Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical documents, including genomic lab protocols and reports, SOPs, test plans, and customer-facing documentation, all in the IVD space
- Prepare tables and diagrams to record and visualize data from studies
- Develop and align workflow diagrams for development processes including the development, verification, validation, clinical trials, registration and commercialization of complex diagnostic products
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.
- Route documents for review, approval, or revision in an EDMS
- nteract with all levels of the organization to create, update and release documentation
Your qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field
- Three years of experience as a Technical Writer in Pharma or Diagnostics; experience in writing for IVD products is a plus
- Experience in creating documentation for audiences with different levels of technical skill
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in both German and English
- Ability to read scientific documentation in the field of PCR-based IVD products
- Experience in presenting technical information in a live setting, such as classroom training, presentations, or video conference
- Excellent communication and listening skills, ability to work in a team and personal integrity
- Good technical and IT skills
- Excellent German and very good English language skills, both written and spoken
